How to find your page URL in Wix

  1. Access the Wix Editor: Log in to your Wix account, and from your Wix dashboard, click on "Edit Site" for the website you want to work on. This will open the Wix Editor.
  2. Select the Page: In the Wix Editor, click on the page for which you want to determine or customize the URL. The page you select will be displayed in the editor.
  3. View and Customize the URL:
    • Default URL: By default, Wix generates the URL based on the page name. You can see the default URL in the page settings. To view or change it, follow these steps:
      1. In the Wix Editor, click on the page you want to work with.
      2. In the left sidebar, click on the "Page" icon (it looks like a sheet of paper).
      3. In the Page Settings panel that appears, you'll see the "SEO" tab.
      4. In the "SEO" tab, you'll find the "Page URL" field. Here, you can see the default URL, which is typically in the format of "yourdomain.com/page-name."
    • Custom URL: If you want to customize the URL, you can click on the "Change Page Address" button next to the "Page URL" field. This allows you to enter a custom page address. Keep in mind that when you customize the URL, you should avoid using spaces or special characters and use dashes or underscores instead.
  4. Save Your Changes: After determining or customizing the URL, click the "Done" or "Save" button in the Page Settings panel to save your changes.
  5. Publish Your Site: To make your changes live on your website, click the "Publish" button in the top right corner of the Wix Editor.

Remember that changing the URL of a page may affect SEO and existing links. Make sure to set up 301 redirects if you change the URL of a page that has been previously indexed by search engines or linked from other websites to avoid broken links and maintain SEO rankings.
